South Bay Church practices water baptism after a person has made a personal decision to follow Christ. Water baptism, also known as Believer’s Baptism, is an outward sign of an inward change. Baptism by water immersion is a great way to publicly profess your own personal faith in Jesus Christ.

Please note, South Bay prefers children under the age of seven wait to be water baptized until they can fully comprehend what it means to be baptized by water immersion. We have baptized children younger than seven, after a short conversation with a pastor to make sure the child truly understands the meaning of being water baptized.
