The Support You Need From People Like You
Welcome to Freedom at South Bay. Freedom is being able to live out who you were made to be. Often times pain, hurt, choices, circumstances get in the way of living out freedom in our lives. We hope that while you are here that you feel cared for and equipped to walk in freedom in your daily life.
Freedom looks different for everyone but you are absolutely in the right place. We hope that you are cared for, and equipped in freedom so that you too can help others find Freedom!
GROUPS
Freedom Groups are one of the primary ways that we help people experience and maintain freedom. We have groups for Men’s Group 18+, Women’s Group 18 +, and Students Group 12-18.
ORIENTATION
After you have visited Freedom, Freedom Orientation allows our team to answer any questions, explain the principles of Freedom, and to help you set your own Freedom goals.
Prayer
Freedom Prayer is an private individual time to gain support and prayer. Our Freedom team will help you navigate the barriers your are facing to healing.

Prayer
We place high value on the voice of God and His direction for the course for Freedom work. Both Freedom and those who participate belong to Him and He has a plan to work things for His glory. As a team, we believe a strong foundation of prayer must exist in order to remain aligned with God’s plan God’s way.

Authority
We believe there is no authority except from God and that Freedom exists through God’s directing of leadership. Freedom submits to the governing authority at South Bay Church and will submit to God’s direction and leading as He does through His purposes. As a ministry, Freedom leadership will work to remain under God’s ordained covering as well as to seek His continual direction for Freedom work. Freedom is foundational on the position Christ provides as His children. This authority gives leadership the platform to teach, speak, and model Freedom where heavenly and earthly realms meet.

Support

Community
We belong to the body of Christ and therefore believe that the church; namely Christ’s body, is the way in which God heals, restores, and carries out His plan for Freedom on earth. Freedom is intentional about connecting people to body life and community. Through being community to those in need and then purposing to support them to continue their growth within community; Freedom launches participants into a lifelong journey of Freedom.

FAQ
What is Freedom?
Freedom is being able to live out who you were made to be. Often times pain, hurt, choices, and circumstances get in the way of living out Freedom in our lives. Everyone at Freedom is on the journey to live out true Freedom. Freedom is knowing who God made you to be and receiving His healing from lies, wounds, oppression and all that stands in the way of the life Jesus has for you. Freedom comes through hearing God’s word and responding to God’s word. We will explore how to hear from God, how we have power in Christ, and how to reclaim the life God has for us!
